The Presbyterian Church in Jardim América will hold on July 20, 21 and 22, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the EBF - Holiday Bible School, open to children aged 2 to 11, with the theme "The Storyteller". Children will learn more about the love of Jesus Christ and how he helps us in the day to day of our lives.

What is an EBF?

A Bible School of Vacations (EBF) is a Bible school, but made during school holidays. It arose with the intention of reaching children for Christ and making them grow in faith. EBF is primarily meant to welcome children who live around the church, and who do not yet know the good news of Jesus Christ.

How EBF came about?

Like Sunday School, EBF has emerged to meet the needs of street children. In July 1898, a lady by the name of Elisa Hawes, concerned about the children who were walking through the streets of her neighborhood in New York, in a state of abandonment by the parents during the vacation, subject to the learning of so many harmful and sinful things , Decided to make a Daily Vacation Bible School for children up to 14 years of age. The first meeting place was in a courtyard with a garden where beer was sold at night. During the day there was no activity there. Elisa Hawes had to pay the rent out of her own pocket.

THE EBF IPJA

Over its 21 years of existence, the Presbyterian Church in Jardim América has been carrying out its EBF in July. This programming that is already part of the history of the IPJA has been attending and discipled about 400 children every year. They are wonderful moments for the life of each helper and the children so bring your child, participate, you are special guests!

This year our theme will be: "The Storyteller"

Ana, Samuca, Pedro and David join the carpenter Emanuel to build a clubhouse. But what the children could not imagine is that besides the carpentry Mr. Emanuel has another great talent. Come and meet the parables of Jesus with this joyful and fun crowd!
